What qualifications should I look for in a coach?

First of all, look for a coach who has received a life coaching certificate from a reputable training organization.

I also highly recommend that you find a coach who is ICF certified. The International Coaching Federation holds the standard for core coaching competencies and ethical standards.

You might also look for other qualifications and/or work experience that are related to your coaching goal.

Lastly, find a coach that shares your values. There’s something amazing that happens when you’re able to connect with your coach on a deeper level, so take the time to find someone you click with!
